selection of cardiovascular fitness equipment such as elliptical
trainers, recumbent bikes, step machines and treadmills. We welcome
all new and existing members to explore our Fitness Center. Our
personnel are trained to educate you about the equipment and assist
with your workouts. Our Personal Trainers hold nationally recognized
certifications and are CPR/AED certified.

help you improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength,
endurance, flexibility and mental health. The benefits of physical

JCC NUTRITION PROGRAM
Are you tired of food fads? Would you like to know the what, the how
and
the why of eating and preparing food for a more energetic, less
illness prone
lifestyle? Are you also interested in living a longer, healthier
life?
Nutrition Specialist/Weight Management Coach Seth Kaplan is here to
convert your diet into functional fuel for a positive change. He
will guide
you in exploring your unique nutritional needs.
Total Fit Package: If you are seeking a serious training
regimen with a
dedicated and knowledgeable trainer, this is the program for you!!!
Seth
will customize a body shaping and diet plan for your obtainable
goals. He
will work with you on a nutritional outline consisting of foods that
deliver
the proper nutrients so that you will get healthier and feel more
energetic.
This plan will enable you to shape your body effectively through
muscle
toning while shedding body fat. We offer this exclusive package with
30
minutes of Personal Training complemented with 30 minutes of
nutrition
counseling.
Nutrition 101: Be the healthiest you can be. Seth will help
you with the
food guide pyramid, diet planning and how nutrients affect your
energy
and overall wellness during these 30 or 60 minute sessions.
Triple F (Fit Family & Friends): Eat well, live well.
The buddy system is good for a lot of things, including a workout
routine.
With the Triple F one hour package, you and a family member with
similar
goals will receive extensive nutrition counseling together. Learning
about
weight management with a friend or relative will help keep you
motivated

Senior Members
• A senior discount begins at 65
years old.
• The Senior membership hours are Monday-Friday 10am-2pm.
• Unlimited use of the Avis/South Shore JCC fitness center is
available for an additional $35 fee. You will be issued a special
access red card that must be shown to our fitness staff upon entering
the room. Please be sure to pick up your special access card at the
front desk. To ensure members are using the facility during the
appropriate time, the fitness team is required to ask you to show your
card if you are in the gym before 10am, after 2pm and on the weekends.
Teen Membership
• A Teen membership is available
for teens ages 12-20.
• 12 & 13 years old can use our facility from 3-6 pm Monday-Friday.
• Teenagers using our facility from the After School Program must have
a Parent Consent Form submitted prior to participation.
• Teenagers may use all the equipment without direct adult supervision
after they complete their complimentary orientations.
Guest Pass
Policy
• Daily Guest passes are $15
• If you join our Fitness Center within 30 days of the expiration of
your guest pass, you may apply the guest fee towards your membership
dues.
• Guest Passes are issued at the Reception desk in the lobby. We will
photocopy your Driver’s License or Photo ID card for security purposes

Locker Rentals
Our Fitness Center has male and
female locker rooms equipped with
showers. Lockers are for daily use only.
• You can rent a locker for only $30 annually.
• We also have mini lockers for wallets, cash and valuables for 25

Enrollment
Policy
• Everyone wishing to join the
Fitness Center will be asked to complete a Liability Waiver. If you
have a medical restriction, you will be asked to provide a medical
clearance note from your physician.
• You are entitled to 2 complimentary 30 minute orientations upon
joining the Fitness Center. Please note our orientations are by
appointment only.
