Staten Islanders 4 Staten Island - Help Feed Families in Need for the Holidays!
The JCC is proud to partner with Eden II and the Pride Center of Staten Island on the Staten Islanders for Staten Island initiative! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! We would also like to thank Elvis Duran and Alex Carr for their generous donation to help bring holiday meals for those in need. Thanks to these donations, we were able to provide Glatt Kosher meals for 125 people this Hanukkah! Even though Hanukkah is over, we are continuing the program throughout the holiday season. To donate a meal, call B&Y Catering at 718.475.5222 and let them know you are ordering a "Staten Islanders for Staten Island" meal package. Then, pay for the meal directly with the caterer. All meal packages will be delivered directly to families in need. To learn more about this wonderful new initiative that is helping feed those in need this holiday season while also helping struggling small businesses, check out this feature from NY1!
