This year, that number has grown as Staten Islanders experience hardships related to COVID-19. Here’s the story of a family directly affected by the COVID-19 crisis that we were able to help: We were able to help two seniors who are the primary caregivers for their teenage grandchildren. While they receive Social Security benefits, it's not enough to feed the family of four. We were able to provide them with food from our Kosher Food Pantry. Donate to our Families in Need campaign here to help families like this one.
