Here’s the story of a family directly affected by the COVID-19 crisis that we were able to help: We were able to help a single mother and her sister, both immigrants from Sri Lanka who lost their jobs as home health aids during the pandemic. They do not qualify for any government benefits due to their immigration status, but we were able to give them food from our Kosher Food Pantry to help them get through this difficult time. Donate to our Families in Need campaign here to help families like this one.
