Career Connections

The JCC provides career services assistance, including enrollment in both paid and unpaid job training programs, professional development workshops, and one-on-one interview prep and career preparedness sessions with our Career Coach.

CRED Program

Through the DYCD-funded CRED program, the JCC provides paid job training and internship placement that creates pathways to employment for people living in communities most impacted by violence. Previously, we have worked with the Construction, IT/Cybersecurity, Security, and HVAC industries.

Program includes:

  • Choice of: AI-enabled IT support, Personal Trainer, and Lifeguard Training Tracks

  • Paid Internship

  • Exam Fees, PPE, and Uniform

  • Workshops, Networking Events, Mock Interviews, and more

Eligibility Requirements:

  • NYC Residents who are currently unemployed, ages 18-40 years old

  • 24-week commitment (25 hours per week)

  • Ability to travel between the 5 boroughs is required
