Our sports and swim programs are about confidence, teamwork, perseverance, and having fun along the way.

The Staten Island JCC offers year-round sports, recreation, and aquatics programs for all ages. Whether you're learning to swim, mastering the fundamentals of a new sport, developing existing skills, or simply looking for a way to stay active together, our programs create opportunities to grow — in the water, on the field, and beyond.

Sports

The Staten Island JCC's sports programs build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong love of the game for athletes of every age and skill level, from first-time players to skilled competitors.

Aquatics

The Staten Island JCC’s indoor and outdoor pools serve swimmers of all ages and abilities through lessons, recreational swimming, aquatic therapy, competitive programs, lifeguard training, and more.

Maccabi Games

The Staten Island JCC is proud to participate in the Maccabi Games, the world’s largest Jewish teen sports competition.

​To participate in the games, teens must be between the ages of 13-17 years.

  • Boys baseball

  • Boys basketball (5v5 and 3v3 offered)

  • Boys soccer

  • Coed dance

  • Coed flag football

  • Coed swimming

  • Coed tennis

  • Girls basketball (5v5)

  • Girls soccer

  • Girls volleyball

  • Star reporter (photography, social media, and videography)
