Memory Loss Programs

When memories fade, care, connection, and dignity remain.

The JCC's Memory Loss Program provides compassionate programs to support individuals with recently diagnosed to mid-stage Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias. Through classes and support groups, participants socialize, express themselves creatively, and engage in meaningful activities that support cognitive wellness and enrich their daily lives.

Because every moment together matters.

Our Mission

Our goal is to enhance participants' quality of life by promoting independence, preserving daily living skills, encouraging social interaction, and creating enriching experiences in a supportive and dignified setting. The program also offers families an affordable alternative to institutional care and in-home support services.

Programs and Activities

Participants enjoy a variety of stimulating and enriching experiences, including:

  • Nutritious kosher lunches and snacks

  • Discussion groups and current events

  • Exercise and nutritional counseling

  • Memory-enhancing activities

  • Creative art and music programs

  • Gardening activities

  • Support groups

Some activities introduce participants to new experiences, while others focus on familiar and accessible routines designed to encourage comfort, confidence, and connection.

Individualized Care and Support

Our dedicated staff members work closely with participants and their families to create a welcoming environment that encourages engagement, supports emotional well-being, and reinforces essential daily living skills.
