Our Aquatics program gives swimmers of every age and ability a place to learn, train, and grow in the water — from parent-and-me classes for toddlers to competitive stroke work for teens headed toward swim team. Explore the programs below to find the right fit.

Aquatics Fall Session

    Baby Nemo

    Age Range
    2-6

    Parent & Me Class
    30 Minutes, 1 to 5 Ratio

    Baby Nemo Goals:

    • Roll front to back, back to front

    • Train along wall

    • Assisted jumping

    • Assisted submerge

    • Back floats

    • Front floats

    • Bubbles

    • Jump, turn, float

    • Intro to kicking

    • Intro to doggy paddle

    Beginner Tadpoles

    Age Range
    4-6

    Parent & Me Class
    30 Minutes, 1 to 5 Ratio

    Beginner Tadpoles Goals:

    • Front glide assisted to wall

    • Exit water independently

    • Back float assisted for 10 seconds & recovery

    • Front float assisted for 10 seconds & recovery

    • Roll front to back, back to front

    • Assisted back glide to wall

    • Submerge & grab object

    • Wall sit & jump

    • Treading 20 seconds with belt

    • Jump, turn, swim

    • Kicking with kickboard front & back

    • Intro to swimming with arms & bubbles

    Intermediate Tadpoles

    Age Range
    4-6

    Parent & Me Class
    30 Minutes, 1 to 5 Ratio

    Intermediate Tadpoles Goals:

    • Everything from Beginner Tadpoles

    • No assistance from belts

    • Minimal assistance

    • Use proper arm motions in freestyle

    • Use proper arm motions in backstroke

    • Side breathing

    • Intro to glide

    • Swim 25 yards

    • Complete submerge to grab object

    • Treading 1 minute with assistance

    • Jump, tread, float

    Advanced Tadpoles

    Age Range
    4-6

    Parent & Me Class
    30 Minutes, 1 to 5 Ratio

    Advanced Tadpoles Goals:

    • No assistance

    • Swim 25 yards non-stop

    • Streamline 25 yards

    • Treading 1 minute without assistance

    • Intro to diving

    • Intro to breaststroke

    • Intro to butterfly

    Beginner Stingrays

    Age Range
    7-10

    Parent & Me Class
    45 Minutes, 1 to 6 Ratio

    Beginner Stingrays Goals:

    • Everything from Intermediate Tadpoles

    • Submerge and grab object

    • Front crawl 25 yards

    • Exit water independently

    • Jump, push, turn, grab

    • Front float 20 seconds

    • Back glide/streamline

    • Treading 1 minute without assistance

    • Swim, float, swim

    • Intro to diving

    Intermediate Stingrays

    Age Range
    7-10

    Parent & Me Class
    45 Minutes, 1 to 6 Ratio

    Intermediate Stingrays Goals:

    • Everything from Beginner Stingrays

    • No assistance from belts

    • Minimal assistance

    • Use bent arm recovery in front crawl

    • Swim 50+ yards

    • Complete submerge to grab object

    • Treading 2 minutes without assistance

    • Intro to butterfly

    • Intro to breaststroke

    • Diving

    Advanced Stingrays

    Age Range
    7-10

    Parent & Me Class
    45 Minutes, 1 to 6 Ratio

    Advanced Stingrays Goals:

    • Everything from Intermediate Stingrays

    • No assistance

    • Swim laps non-stop

    • Streamline 50 yards

    • Treading 2 minutes without assistance

    • Diving off block

    • Intro to flip-turns

    • Start competitive swim

    • Butterfly 25 yards

    • Breastroke 25 yards

    • Swim Team Prep

    Beginner Sharks

    11-14

    Parent & Me Class
    45 Minutes, 1 to 6 Ratio

    Beginner Shark Goals:

    • Everything from Intermediate Stingrays

    • Endurance any stroke

    • Flip-turn

    • Intro to breaststroke

    • Intro to butterfly

    • Retrieve objects from deep water

    • Diving off block

    Age Range
    11-14

    Parent & Me Class
    45 Minutes, 1 to 6 Ratio

    Intermediate Shark Goals:

    • Everything from Beginner Sharks

    • Endurance laps (4+ laps non-stop)

    • Efficient in all strokes

    • Treading water for 2 minutes

    • Retrieve block from deep end

    • Start laps from diving board

    • Start IM (combination strokes)

    Advanced Sharks Goals:

    • Endurance any stroke (10+ laps)

    • Efficient in all strokes during laps

    • IM knowledge

    • Swim Team Prep
