The JCC has been upholding the camping tradition since 1932. Housed at the scenic Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds, kids experience the joy of nature while making lifelong friends and learning values like friendship, respect, and perseverance.

JCC Swimming Academy
7 weeks
July 8th, 2024- August 23rd, 2024
Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30pm
Bernikow Building
Ages: 5-14 (Under 5 y.o after special approval)
Per Week: Member: $580 Non-members: $685
Sibling discount: 15% off per week for additional children.
Early Bird Rate: Register by May 1st for a minimum of 4 weeks and get last years weekly rate!  (Must be paid in full.)
Lunch available: $10 per day

Swim Academy is open to all individuals of all levels
​Ideal for Trident Aquatics Team Members 
All must be potty trained

Group Schedule:
​8:30-9:15am Gym Time
9:15-9:30am Changing for pool
9:30-11:15am First Swimming Session (Instructional)
11:15-11:30am Changing
11:30am-12pm Arts and Crafts
12-1pm Lunch
1-1:30pm Relaxation (Yoga, Games, Free time)
1:30-1:45pm Changing for pool
1:45-3pm Second Swimming Session (Instructional)
3-3:15pm Changing
3:15-3:30pm Snack time (Cafeteria)
3:30pm Pick up

We will also have special events and games throughout the summer!
Please note the following:

• All meals are served with a bottled water
• Lunches are served in individual packages
• Substitutions are not available
• We are unable to distribute refunds/credits to absent campers
• The deadline for ordering lunch will be the Thursday prior to the following week of camp.

Core 24 summer Basketball academy

At summer basketball academy, our primary goal is to bring out the very best in every player we coach! Whether you are a beginner, a new player looking to become more comfortable on the court, an aspiring High School player, or a super competitive player looking to excel, we have a spot for you.

We will be offering catered lunch at Sports Camp this summer, in partnership with B & Y caterers.
Lunch is $10 per day
The sample weekly menu is as follows:
Monday: Pizza Bagel, Cookies, Fresh Fruit
Tuesday: Chicken Sandwich, Corn Chips, Applesauce
Wednesday: Hamburger, Corn Chips, Fresh Fruit
Thursday: Chicken Nuggets, French Fries, Diced Peach Cup
Friday: Pizza Bagel. Cookies, Fresh Fruit

At our soccer camp, fun is our goal! We will provide the players with the opportunity to develop their skills while experiencing the joy of the sport. The curriculum includes activities designed for children at every skill level.

Marvin’s Camp for Children with Special Needs

https://sijccdaycamp.org/special-needs/Marvin’s Camp, Marvin’s Juniors, and MORE (Marvin’s On the Road Everyday) allow children with special needs to experience the joys of camp. The camp is also housed at Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds. All Marvin’s Camp programs are led by highly experienced staff with degrees in special education, social work, and school psychology and is staffed by highly trained, energetic, devoted, and child-friendly counselors.  We maintain low camper-to-staff ratios to ensure excellent care and attention to each camper.

Lucille & Jay Chazanoff Sunrise Day Camp

Sunrise Day Camp is the world’s first full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, provided completely free of charge. The Lucille & Jay Chazanoff Sunrise Day Camp-Staten Island is the only day camp of its kind in New York City. The camp serves children from Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and nearby New Jersey.

The camp, which is located on the grounds of Staten Island Academy, serves over 140 children every year. Activities include sports, music, arts & crafts, swimming, and other games.
​
Recognizing the extraordinary financial demands that a child’s chronic illness can have on a family, Sunrise Day Camps and its year-round and in-hospital programs are offered completely free of charge to all children being treated for cancer and their siblings, on a non-sectarian basis. Sunrise Day Camp-Staten Island is a proud member of the Sunrise Association.

We also offer free camp programs at our Cornerstone, Beacon, and COMPASS sites. These programs continue the work we do at these sites throughout the year, teaching leadership skills and encouraging academic success.
