We're looking forward to hosting additional sessions with Mark in the future! - Closing Out Jewish Music Month Last week, we closed Jewish Music Month with a phenomenal virtual program by the San Francisco Yiddish Combo. The combo's Klezmer for the 21st Century put a unique twist on traditional Klezmer music and had all of our participants smiling and dancing at home. Their final piece will even be published and shared on a national platform! We are so excited that our students have this incredible opportunity and we can't wait to see what they create! - Grab & Go Meals for Seniors Until we receive more funding, our Grab & Go Meals program for seniors has concluded, for now. Yom HaAtzmaut: Moments of Pride Through Israeli Innovation Wednesday, April 14, 8pm On the eve of Israel’s 73rd independence celebration, the program will open with a virtual tour of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation and an interview with Chemi Peres, the chairman of the Center’s board and the co-founder and managing general partner of Pitango venture capital fund, which invests widely in the technology field, from IT to medicine. The program will also spotlight the country’s undeniable culture of innovation and its ability to overcome obstacles, by visiting three Israeli enterprises and hearing from their founders about how each built the business and what North American Jews can learn from their experiences.
