IN THE NEWS COVID-19 Vaccines A few of our JCC staff members who do essential work or are over 65 were able to get vaccines at Richmond University Medical Center last week. They took this picture together in front of a picture of our beloved late board member, Allan Weissglass, who was instrumental in connecting us to RUMC. We are grateful to RUMC and to our essential staff members, who are protecting themselves and others by getting vaccinated! We know getting appointments for the vaccine has been very difficult for many. We have been getting hundreds of requests for help finding vaccine appointments. Currently, there are no new first dose appointments in NYC available due to low supply. We will continue to work with our partners in government to help eligible people find appointments once the next set of vaccine doses are available. Click here to sign up here to be notified of new pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinics. We will let you know about clinics as we hear of them. To find out if you're eligible for the vaccine at this stage, you can also fill out this screener. - Recap: The Golden Age of Movie Musicals Last week, we hosted a virtual lecture on the Golden Age of Movie Musicals with musical enthusiasts Sam and Candy Caponegro!
