IN THE NEWS Vaccinating Seniors This week, we hosted a two-day vaccine clinic at the Bernikow Building and were able to vaccinate over 650 seniors! Thank you to the Borough President’s Office for helping us get these vaccines to keep seniors in our community safe during this difficult time. - Next Week’s Fitness Center & Indoor Pool Slots Now Open! Sign up for an Indoor Pool slot here. - Grab & Go Meals for Seniors Resume March 9 Grab-and-Go meal service for Seniors in Need will resume March 9th and continue through March 24th. Distribution will take place Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11am. Due to our limited funding, we can only provide 2 meals per person. Since we have fewer meals to give away, we ask that only those in need take part in this food distribution. Thank you for your cooperation. We have been getting hundreds of requests for help finding vaccine appointments. We will continue to work with our partners in government to help eligible people find appointments. Partial scholarships are open to students entering grades 5-12 who have some prior training on their instrument. Our Harmony Club scholarship program is open to highly motivated students in grades 9-12. “Harmony Club” students will take free private lessons and ensemble classes. Students will also participate in master classes, and solo and group recitals. This program is made possible through a grant from UJA-Federation of New York.
