IN THE NEWS Vaccinating Our Community On Friday, we had a vaccine clinic and gave out first doses to over 200 people! Thanks to UJA-Federation of New York and Rossi Pharmacy for partnering with us on this initiative. - Highlighting Our Wonderful Volunteers April is National Volunteer Month! We'd like to tell you a little about some of our amazing Food Pantry volunteers. Meet Fran Perlman and Rubin Warren! Fran, a retired elementary school teacher, and her husband Rubin, a retired accountant, have been volunteering at the Kosher Food Pantry since December. Fran and Rubin enjoy traveling, reading, and walking the parks and streets of Staten Island. They’ve also enjoyed hiking with the JCC Trailblazers. Before the pandemic, Fran served as a volunteer for RUMC, SIUH, and the Staten Island Children's Museum. The couple recently added a rescue puppy named Lily to their family.
